Jaime has a Master’s in Education and background in finance and marketing, though it was Teach for America that opened his eyes to the opportunities and needs in PK-12 education. Observing diverse student needs in the classroom, Jaime began sending families to schools that would better serve them. He quickly learned "enrollment economics" and the zero-sum game created between funding and educational outcomes. To solve this, Jaime founded Schola with a mission to help parents find the best PK-12 schools for their children while providing schools the recruitment tools they need to find more best-fit students.
