District/Charter Leases - Can't We All Just Get Along?

Real Estate professional with over 30 years experience in all aspects of real estate aqusition, management, negotiation, entitlments, permitting and construction management. Over 20 years experience with charter school formation, management, financing, lease negotiation, aquisitions, entitlements, permitting and construction.

Prior to joining PCSD, Jennifer served as the Chief Client Services Officer at CSMC, working in as a consultant CFO for charter schools and in business development. She has 15+ years of charter school financial management experience. She also has 20+ years of finance experience at several non-profit lenders and Harris Bank. She served as the Board President and Board Treasurer for Community Learning Center Schools, a Charter Management Organization in Alameda, and on the audit committee for the national non-profit Bread for the World. She obtained her Masters in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago.

Monique Daviss has been the Executive Director of El Sol Science and Arts Academy since 2005. During her tenure the school has grown in both size and achievement. El Sol has been named the Hart Vision Charter School of the Year, National Center for Urban School Transformation Best Urban School, a California Distinguished School, a Title I Academic Achievement Awardee, a California Association for Bilingual Educators Seal of Excellence Awardee, a Campaign for Business & Education Excellence (CBEE) STAR awardee among other awards and recognitions. The school is a destination for groups interested in dual immersion programs and community school initiatives.
