Down the Rabbit Hole: Navigating the Intersection of Student Data and School Financials

Kapil Mathur is the Founder and Executive Director of the Orange County Academy of Sciences and Arts. He is dedicated to providing a high-quality and student-centered learning experience that prioritizes equity and inclusivity. Kapil's vision is to create a personalized learning program that caters to the unique needs and strengths of each student. He believes that every child deserves an education that is tailored to their individual needs and interests. Kapil holds a Master’s Degree from UCLA and is working on his Ed.D. in Charter School Administration.

Kate oversees all finance, accounting and compliance reporting for clients by working collaboratively with multiple internal teams and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information. Across her career, Kate has leveraged technology to distill data and deliver insights to diverse stakeholders. An immigrant to the U.S., Kate is a firm believer in opportunity through education and is an advocate for the charter school mission of providing choice and accountability. Outside of Charter Impact, Kate has served as a mentor at the Asian Youth Center and volunteered for various organizations, including Toys for Tots and Habitat for Humanity.
