"Elevating Educational Leadership with Open Source Data Solutions: A Data-Driven Approach to School Excellence"

Chris started in education as a high school history teacher in East Los Angeles. Later Chris was awarded a scholarship to participate in the Charter and Autonomous Schools Leadership Academy (CASLA), an accelerated program for aspiring school leaders working in underserved communities. There he received his administrative service credential as well as his master’s degree in Educational Administration. Chris has worn many hats as a school leader including student success coordinator, instructional coach, ELD coordinator, operations coordinator, and assistant and interim principal. He has also been a guest professor presenting on topics such as data visualization and MTSS systems.

Gloria White currently serves as Director of Data & Accountability at Da Vinci Schools. She began her educational career as an English teacher after graduating with a B.A. in English Literature from UC Berkeley, and completing her Single Subject Teaching Credential at CSU Monterey Bay. Her passion to ensure that underserved students had the opportunity to attend and graduate from college inspired her to become a high school Counselor. She completed her M.Ed in Educational Leadership and Tier I Administrative credential at the Principal Leadership Institute at UCLA, where her studies focused on socially just and progressive school practices.
