Jessica Sullivan is a Coordinator II focusing on secondary literacy for the Division of Curriculum and Instructional Services at the Los Angeles County Office of Education. She works with educators throughout Los Angeles County’s 79 school districts and beyond in implementing effective literacy practices and building systems to support them. A middle school educator at heart, Jessica has extensive experience teaching secondary English, providing instructional coaching, and implementing Tier 2 and 3 intervention for struggling older readers. Most recently, she co-authored the Getting Reading Right: Filling in the Gaps in the Secondary Classroom and the CA Administrators’ Reading Collaborative series.
