Beyond College Admissions: How Test Scores Matter Today
Educators have a crucial role to go beyond college admissions and ensure learners are prepared for their college and careers goals. In June 2023, the CDE approved ACT and PreACT assessments as academic indicators for state charter schools. This session will review how college entrance exam scores are included in middle and high school curriculum to provide students a measure of readiness for college level courses. We will also bridge how national, stackable, credentials develop essential workplace skills, and help educators answer, “When am I going to use this again?”
