Pre-Con Deep-Dive Workshop Integrating AI-tools for LCAP Development and Compliance
DD3
Deep-Dive workshops are 4- to 5-hour content-specific pre-conference workshops on Monday that allow for long-format conversations and programming. These are only open to CCSA members. Because space is limited, advanced sign-ups are required. Tickets are $75 and include lunch.
Learn and explore how to use custom AI-powered tools to effectively tell your school’s story, analyze student and schoolwide data, and strengthen a continuous improvement system—while ensuring your Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) fully meets all statutory and compliance requirements.
This half-day advanced workshop is designed for charter school leaders, administrators, and charter school LCAP developers preparing for the 2026–27 school year who are new or looking to advance their AI skills. Building on participants’ existing knowledge of the LCAP framework, the session moves beyond compliance basics to position the LCAP as a dynamic, living document that drives strategic planning, equity-focused resource allocation, and accountability.
Participants will learn how to align and integrate the LCAP across multiple federal, state, and authorizer accountability frameworks, including Title I requirements, SPSA–LCAP integration, WASC accreditation (Action Plan), and CA Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) annual reporting to name a few.
Participants will learn simple, high-impact ways AI can assist you with:
- Organizing and summarizing assessment, Dashboard, and local data
- Drafting clear, compliant LCAP narratives grounded in evidence
- Strategically meeting Increased and Improved Services requirements for LCFF Supplemental and Concentration funding
- Optimizing LCFF Action Tables to clearly demonstrate coherence, impact, and compliance
The workshop concludes with advanced alignment strategies for charter schools navigating overlapping accountability and funding requirements, including Title I, Equity Multiplier Funds (EMF), Learning Recovery Emergency Block Grant (LREBG), and federal and state intervention designations (ATSI, TSI, CSI). Attendees will leave with an advanced needs assessment checklist and documentation toolkit designed to meet Title I, EMF, LREBG, WASC, and CCSPP requirements—transforming the LCAP into a unified, strategic planning and accountability system.
