Small groups, big impact: Closing the confidence gap with Lean In Girls

By middle school, girls’ confidence drops by 30% while boys’ holds steady – undermining engagement and wellbeing. Lean In Girls helps schools address this gap with a free leadership curriculum and Tier 2 intervention. Through discussion, guided reflection, peer learning, and hands-on activities, students build resilience, find their voice, and strengthen agency. In this session, participants will experience a core activity, debrief its impact, and hear from a California charter leader who used the program to boost student success outcomes. Attendees leave with free resources to implement the program.
