Maribel joined Aspire Public Schools in 2015 and has worked to build systems and practices that engage the diverse experiences of the families and communities served by Aspire across California. Prior to joining Aspire, Maribel supported Family Engagement programming at a large urban school district in the bay area. She brings over 15 years of experience in serving students and families in public education.

Sergey Terebkov is a trustee of the Placer County Board of Education. As a board member, Sergey is committed to preserving and improving public education opportunities for all families in Placer County. He believes public schools should serve as a pathway to either higher education or an opportunity to obtain well-paying jobs through career pathways. Sergey currently serves as the Founder and President of the Slavic American Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District Business Advisory Council. Previously, Sergey served as the Director of School, Parent and Government Relations for Gateway Community Charters.
