Confidence Counts: How Leadership Skills Boost Engagement, Belonging, and Resilience in Girls (Lean In Girls)

Middle and high school girls are navigating a world full of pressures—and educators need practical, research-informed tools that help girls stay engaged, feel a sense of belonging, and build lasting resilience. This interactive session introduces Lean In Girls, a free leadership curriculum that equips girls with the skills and mindset they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond. Attendees will participate in a hands-on activity from the curriculum, explore how leadership development strengthens self-esteem during early adolescence, and leave with ready-to-use resources to build girls’ confidence, belonging, and resilience.
