For nearly two decades, Kimberly has worked to serve the needs of charter schools, supporting foundations and other nonprofit entities. In her practice, Kimberly has assisted clients with all stages of the nonprofit lifecycle, including entity structuring and restructuring, formation, obtaining state and federal tax exemption and reinstating tax-exempt status, reviving suspended corporate entities, nonprofit operations and governance, merger, and dissolution. In working with charter school-focused nonprofit organizations. Kimberly’s practice area includes conflicts of interest, the California Public Records Act, the Brown Act, and The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
