Short circuiting the bridge of theory to practice, participants will be led through experiential activities and discussions that allow them to understand, appreciate, and begin to apply the driving principles of Mental Wellness Literacy. Ultimately participants will be able to uncover the missing solution and move students along a progressive, measurable, and equitable path of wellness. She is the Co-Founder of Holpentech Innovations and Frugé Psychological Associates. Her insights inform the development of performance and clinical products, and she provides clinical and performance psychology services to K-12 schools. Her keen ability to listen, analyze, and cultivate reflective and strategic thought partnership has esteemed her as an expert in increasing the emotional intelligence, mental wellness literacy, confidence, and thrivability of clients.

Dr. Shawn L. Frugé is a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist. He is the Co- Founder of Holpentech Innovations. As an expert witness throughout California courts, Dr. Frugé conducts complex medical-legal evaluations along with extensive research investigating the school to prison pipeline, and pathways of success for urban youth. Additionally, Dr. Frugé has designed and implemented many comprehensive mental health systems for schools, foster care homes, and auxiliary education programs for over twenty years that address treatment disparities and equity. He is considered the father of Mental Wellness Literacy, and uses this pedagogy to promote wellness and end racism.
