Karla has a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, and has SPHR, PHRca and SHRM-SCP designations from the Society for Human Resources Management and HR Certification Institute.

Dr. Weir’s experience includes K-12 education, pedagogy and organizational management in the non-profit sector. Dr. Weir’s background in education, leadership, teaching, coaching organizational change management, finance, negotiation and mediation spans three decades and includes extensive national and international experience that combines her valuable expertise in finding success with the diverse range of interested groups she has the joy to work with throughout the educational community.
