Connect and Engage Sessions Topics

Connect and Engage sessions are opportunities for attendee learning and professional development via small group discussions. Sessions were categorized into four areas of interest to help attendees:

Students at the center

How have student needs shifted? How do I support students? Addressing student needs fuels student success, and student needs comes in many forms. Engage in activities and prompted discussions around student needs in decision making. Exchange student stories with other educators to learn from each other. Reflect on and collaborate with colleagues on different approaches, such as social-emotional learning.

Equity upfront

Collaborate with colleagues in a safe space on equity focused topics, such as addressing bias and making continuous improvement in response to current events. Discuss ways to create an inclusive culture in our mindsets, our schools, our workplaces, and our communities.

Collaborative communities

Looking to share or discover innovative ways to engage your school community?
