Revitalizing Learning in a Charter: Boosting Student Engagement
Los Angeles County Office of Education
Over the past 15 years, Dr. Pak have pioneered the advancement of educational technology and online learning, most notably in her role at California Pacific Charter School in Costa Mesa. As an Online Social Science Instructor and former Department Chair, she spearheaded the development of new, technology-rich curriculum standards that increased student engagement. Dr. Pak's leadership in different PLCs that developed targeted online engagement strategies markedly reduced student absenteeism. Her academic journey culminated in earning a Doctorate of Education in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University. Dr. Pak's research pioneered strategies to leverage digital tools to enhance student engagement.
