Best Board Meeting Ever: 2025 Edition
Back by popular demand for 2025, this semi-scripted mock board meeting will showcase a variety of Brown Act and good governance practices, including teleconferencing, closed sessions, and removing disruptive attendees. Our board of directors will also discuss several new laws impacting charter schools, including policies restricting student cell phones and new rules for drivers transporting students. Provided by a diverse cast of attorneys and charter school veterans, this session is perfect for anyone who touches Brown Act compliance. Public participation is welcome (in accordance with Brown Act, of course).
