Charter Teacher Credentialing in 2025
For experts and beginners alike, this session will tackle myriad issues in charter teacher credentialing. We'll discuss how and when to use emergency permits and waivers, as well as local assignment options (LAOs) to get classroom coverage. We'll cover recent changes in credentialing, including upcoming transitional kindergarten (TK) requirements effective August 1st. Attendees will gain an understanding of the teacher credential monitoring landscape, including CalSAAS, authorizer oversight, Assignment Monitoring Outcome (AMO) Reports on the Dashboard, and Williams List.
