UC Scout is a University of California program that provides over 65 A-G approved online courses and curricula, including over 25 AP® courses, for free to California public schools, including public charters. This session delves into effective strategies for integrating UC Scout’s curricula into charter school programs, enhancing student learning and academic achievement. Participants will explore the flexibility and alignment of UC Scout’s courses with California’s educational standards, and learn how UC Scout supports both teachers and students.

Adra has been working in education for over a decade, from teaching high school English in Las Vegas and English as a second language in Santiago, Chile, to providing transfer admission counseling at UC Santa Barbara. She enjoys combining the knowledge and skills acquired throughout her career to do outreach for UC Scout and increase access to high-quality, A-G approved curricula and courses to students and schools in need. In addition to her passion for education, Adra loves teaching fitness classes and spending time with her husband and their two cats.
