Your Facility is Your Foundation: Charter School Facilities Basics

Securing the right facility is critical to your school’s success, but the journey can be daunting, with a labyrinth of requirements, including leasing or purchasing a site, finding funds to pay for your dream school, and navigating the design and construction processes. You also need to know how to put together a qualified team of experts for your project (especially with new state facilities bonds coming). This presentation will provide you with a facilities primer from the legal perspective and from a seasoned facilities director, as well as case studies.
