Sarah Lillis is the Executive Director of Teach Plus California, leading efforts to empower diverse, experienced California teachers to drive policy and practice changes that promote equity and student success. Before joining Teach Plus in 2017, Sarah spent over a decade in state education policy, serving as COO and Institute Director at EdVoice, where she also managed educational programs for legislators. Sarah has worked in philanthropy at Tides Foundation and the New York Foundation for the Arts. She holds a A.B. in Classics from Harvard and a M.A. in Policy Analysis from Stanford School of Education.
