Brian Heider is the Executive Director of the Workplace Violence Prevention Association (WVPA) and is the founder of Axiom Investigations Group (Axiom), a professional investigation agency that has provided investigative and safety services to California’s charter school community and public entities for the past 15 years. Brian is the co-author of Developing a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan, the authoritative publication dedicated to helping schools and businesses address workplace violence and create safe work environments. Prior to forming WVPA and Axiom, Brian was a police detective in Southern California before his career ended prematurely due to a work-related injury.
