Amy Parada passionately works for Rocketship Public Schools as the Associate Director of Community Organizing. She has orchestrated shows of power, such as the San José Mayoral Candidate Forum with over 1,000 people. Amy has ignited change by organizing hundreds of volunteer families and staff in cross-collaborative organizing across 13 schools. Amy found her passion for organizing 12 years ago through the movement to pass the Local Control Funding Formula with Governor Brown. Her passion stems from her own immigrant family, fueling her belief education is a passport for underserved families creating positive ripple effects across social issues.
