Dr. Esquivel has led Grow Public Schools since July 2022, bringing extensive P-12 leadership experience from both district and charter school settings. He has served as Superintendent of Elk Hills School District and Wonderful College Prep Academy, as well as Assistant Superintendent of San Bernardino City Unified. Dr. Esquivel also founded Larchmont Charter Middle and High School. He holds a Bachelor's in Biology from UC Santa Barbara, a Master's in Education from Loyola Marymount University, and a Doctorate in Education from USC. He also lectures at California State University, Bakersfield, in addition to his superintendent role.
